I was very fortunate to have some of my musings recently published by the professional magazine, “Accountancy”.
My article focused on my thoughts about the direction our profession is next heading, and whether there could be grounds for greater collaboration between smaller accountancy firms to tackle the oligopoly of the ‘Big Four’.
Indeed, recent financial news has been awash in the last few weeks with suggestions of how the Big Four’s power can be put in check, with parties on all sides providing suggestions (it is party conference season after all).
