London accountancy firm, Grunberg & Co, has said that National Payroll Week is the perfect opportunity for local businesses to review and enhance their systems.
Due to take place between 2-6 September, the week is designed to raise the profile and awareness of payroll in the UK amongst businesses.
Grunberg & Co are using the week as an opportunity to share its experience and expertise on payroll and make more businesses aware of the benefits of outsourcing their payroll to specialists.
The week-long awareness week was created by the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals), which hopes that this will be the campaign’s biggest year yet.
Gedalia Waldman, a Partner at Grunberg & Co, said: “Payroll is an important function of running a business with employees, but it can be very onerous for managers and owners – taking away time that might better be spent on helping their company to grow.
